NEC’s Express5800/A2000 Series is dedicated to enterprises featuring 4-socket 4U server based on the Intel® Xeon® Processor E7 v4 Family. This server particularly represents new generation of mission critical servers which is specially designed to support highly virtualized environment, in-memory databases and heavy transactional workloads. Extensive hardware redundancy and system monitoring minimizes the risk of a single point of failure. Open and affordable, the Express5800/A2000 Series server delivers a smaller footprint and better operational efficiency, and helps to reduce server sprawl.

NEC’s Express5800/A2000 is Powered by the Intel® Xeon® Processor E7 v4 Family and inheriting NEC’s supercomputer high performance technology, the NEC’s sixth generation enterprise server supports up to 4 processors / 96 cores / 192 threads, 4.0 terabyte of memory, and 16 PCIe 3.0 slots. A2000 falls under the scale-up server series design with huge resource pools to support compute-intensive and memory hungry applications in mission critical and virtualized environment.

It provides pay as you grow your configuration and offer custom configuration ability to populate 2,3 or 4 sockets. It can disable or enables cores based on performance requirements.

A2000 series are expert in delivering high power efficiency in 4U design with leading industry’s intelligent power management with 80 PLUS® Platinum certified power supply enables the high power efficient operations. It is expert to handle temperature up to 40 degree Celsius that reduces total power consumption through lowering cooling requirement.
