NEC GxFS Overview
NEC GxFS designs are steady building block approach, where each of it consist of two NEC GxFS storage server system that is configured to be in High availability configuration and other number of NEC GxFS storage systems. The SNA storage system is tailored with request to the project needs, the storage system is fully redundant and connected to the storage system Using SAS-3 interface storage system technology. Each component in the NEC GxFS storage application is responsible for its own task. The parallel file storage software reliable functions are taken care by the storage server. The RAID controllers in the Storage Systems are presenting the storage to the Storage Servers in a reliable manner.
Stoage Building Blocks are connected through the interface technology with outside world is usually a high-speed interconnected like Mellanox Infiniband or Intel Omni-Path. The storage appliance is certified for its complete range of Mellanox InfiniBand HCAs and Intel Omni-Path HFIs.
