The Express5800/T120g is a category of dual-socket tower /5U rack-mountable server that offers crucial performance, reliability and expandability in a compact chassis. The server is supported with energy efficient and high-performance Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v4 product family, high speed DDR4-2400 memory, and up to 80 TB of storage capacity, the T120g is ideal for virtualization of branch-office servers, medium-sized databases, collaboration applications, and ERP systems for medium-sized businesses.

The Express5800/T120g is specially design for the optimization of a branch office server that is projected for expandability, optimal performance, and reliability. With up to two 18-core Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v4 processors, 16 DIMM slots for DDR4 memory, 24 hot-plug 2.5-inch drive bays, agent-less management capability, and various redundant options, the T120g delivers the right balance of features for SMBs as well as branch offices of large-enterprises.

The Express5800/T120g is designed to provide great reliability and expandability that is required to meet your business growth. With four PCIe Gen3 and one PCIe Gen2 slots, two integrated gigabit NICs, and up to 80 TB of drive capacity, the T120g offers flexible network connectivity and superior storage capacity. To improve system uptime system is provided with the redundant storage, fan, and power supply options and for the high-performance applications an optional Graphics Card Installation Kit allows 300W GPU card installation is provided.

NEC have design its server series to reduce IT expense with its innovative features which features intelligent cooling technology by operating at temperature 45°C (113°F). The dual hot plug power supply along with the cold standby mode that reduce energy costs with 92 percent efficiency. NEC offers its EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3 together with NEC ESMPRO for easy management and easy server deployment setup it provides NEC EXPRESSBUILDER. NEC offers agent-less remote monitoring feature minimizes administrator time and effort of by allowing staff to monitor and receive server status notifications from remote sites without dedicated management software and extensive remote management capabilities that straightened out the complexities in managing and operating the server to ease the administrative task.
