General description
The migration of basic network services, such as VoLTE, VoWiFi, mobile data and GiLAN, from physical to the virtual has become a commercial necessity and must be implemented correctly. Given that major transformations rarely occur in essence, service providers have the possibility with NFV to adopt a new approach that ensures that their central network virtualization is open and automated, allowing optimal efficiency with the choice from any vendor.
Because the transition to basic virtual services will take time, the physical and virtual elements will have to coexist.
